Rainbow Life

February 2, 2018 – February 24, 2019

A Bay Area native, Aiyana Udesen received her fine arts degree at the San Francisco Art Institute in 2003. She spent the next few years training closely with scientific illustrator Mary Harden at the botanical gardens in Golden Gate Park. Using ancient watercolor techniques, such as limiting the palette to only yellows, blues, and reds, she explores the rainbow of colors existing in everything around us through careful layers of color.

Matt Furie (b.1979 is an artist, illustrator, and children's book author.
