Ben Sanders

Ben Sanders is a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice encompasses a wide array of media and techniques. In addition to his paintings, drawings, and sculptures, he is known for creating large murals and immersive environments that often double as sites for social experiences. Sanders was a co-founder of Happy Hour Agency, a Los Angeles based collective that builds interactive installations that come to life as fully functioning secret cocktail bars. His work is heavily influenced by cooking and the culture and traditions surrounding food.

He received his B.F.A. from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. His work has been exhibited throughout the country, most recently at Ochi Projects and Gagosian Gallery in Los Angeles, Asya Geisberg in New York, Left Field in San Luis Obispo, Carl and Sloan in Portland, and LVL3 in Chicago. He has shown internationally in London and Vancouver.
